The Single Woman Says:

You can’t run from pain. To run from pain is to run from growth. What happens when you touch a hot stove? It burns, it hurts, it might even leave a mark that will eventually fade…but you know better than to touch a hot stove again. And guess what? You can’t DO better til you KNOW better! Same goes for a broken heart. It causes us great pain and sorrow and leaves us feeling as though we’ll never love again…but at the end of the day, a broken heart teaches us how to love better the next time. It allows us to love deeper, to heal faster, and to start over again, even stronger. Bottom line – Without pain, we would forever remain the same. Sometimes you’ve gotta walk thru pain to know your own strength. So go ahead. Start walkin’. What will you find on the other side? The rest of your great, big, beautiful life.
