One of the most important parts of the journey is those who are traveling beside us. Our friends help cheer us on, pick us up when we’ve fallen down, and guide us to our destination when we’ve lost our way. Our TRUE friends are those who know every stumble, every detour, every missed exit that has brought us to today…and love us anyway. There is no time or distance or circumstance that can separate true friends. They somehow always find their way back to each other. In my own life, the friends that are nearest and dearest to my heart are the ones who have stood by me through every wrong turn and every crash and burn. If Life is a highway, then our friends are truly our guideposts…lighting the way when the darkness sets in and it seems all is lost. Today: Count your friends, your true friends, not by QUANTITY but by QUALITY. Be thankful for those who have stood by your side through thick and thin…for those are the ones who will be there til the very end.
