I saw this quote and it brought a great, big smile to my face, so I knew it was the right one to share today. Mohammed Ali was and is known for his fierce confidence, which I think played a big part in making him a champion. Mind you – confidence and cockiness are NOT the same thing. A cocky person is always chasing the spotlight. A confident person is always being chased BY the spotlight. Remember: True swag doesn’t brag. It just tells it like it is. Confidence shows up to the party and needs no introduction. Cockiness didn’t even get an invitation. Today: Decide you are going to be a champion of confidence, and realize the battle has already been won. And while cockiness is busy pursuing the prize, stand in quiet confidence knowing that you ARE the prize.
