Dash of Sass: Looking for the purpose of tough times? Here it is.
Quotes of the Day:
When Good Friday comes, these are the moments in life when we feel there’s no hope. But then…Easter comes. ~Coretta Scott King
Unless there is a Good Friday in your life, there can be no Easter Sunday. ~Fulton J. Sheen
The Single Woman Says:
My message today is simple. I just received the following email from a reader and it made me cry…
“Thank you. I’ve had some trials this week. Letting go of something I’ve held onto. Something I’ve been saving for a long time and I discarded it in the way I wish I hadn’t. In a way I didn’t want to. But I know that this only proves that I’m human. I’m imperfect. No matter what obstacles are thrown my way that He loves me through it all. So thank you for reminding me the point of Easter. And giving me just a little more hope to pull me through. :)”
The reason it made me cry because I, too, have had some trials this week…and yet in the midst of those trials, some word or tweet or blog I posted unknowingly helped this sweet young lady endure HER trials. Just further proof that we’re all in this thing together, and that the chaos and confusion and heartbreak we encounter on our OWN path is there to teach us how to help other people walk THEIR path a little more bravely. It really is ALL a blessing. When we realize that, when we truly grasp that…there is nothing we can’t do, face down, or overcome. Thank you, Jesus for enduring the worst Friday of your life so we could experience Good Fridays for the rest of ours.
