Whether it’s a plant OR a person…you can’t smother something and expect it to grow. It takes two healthy people to create a healthy relationship, so if you’re running around looking for anyone other than YOU to complete you, you will never be whole. A person senses when you are operating out of fear rather than confidence, and it is a massive turnoff. So stop ringing the alarm (and your love interest’s phone) and just BREATHE. And while you’re at it, give THEM room to breathe! If this is The One, all the pieces of the puzzle will fall into place. And if it’s not The One, why do you want to hang onto them for dear life, anyway? Remember…if it’s yours, no one can take it away. And if it’s NOT, no one can make it stay. So relax, let Life takes its course, and give your new love room to bloom. A relationship cannot grow in the shade of fear and insecurity, so stop blocking the sun and start having some fun!
