Most of us go about our day without paying much attention to the people we encounter along the way. The barista in the drive-thru at Starbucks. The woman in the office next door who greets us every morning on the elevator ride up. The delivery guy. The homeless man selling newspapers on the street corner to make $1. But if we pause in our daily grind and look around, we will see that everyone we cross paths with has a story…a lesson…a gem of knowledge to share, if only we have ears to not just hear, but to LISTEN.

Look around you today as you travel through your day. Don’t dismiss the people whose lives intersect with yours as mere distractions on the way to your REAL destination. When you start to see every person that touches your life as the keepers of a beautiful lesson or perhaps an even more beautiful blessing, the world will open up to you in infinitely magical ways.
