The Single Woman’s Dash of Sass: July 26, 2011
Quote of the Day:
“Every real story is a neverending story. Nothing is lost. Everything is transformed.” ~Michael Ende
The Single Woman Says:
There are moments…snapshots…chapters of your life that are so rare and precious and beautiful that you want so badly to grab onto the moment and stubbornly refuse to let it go, even as it slips away, for fear you will never quite feel that feeling of magic ever again. Here’s the good news: If hurts that much to let it go, then you were blessed to ever have it, see it, feel it, experience it in the first place.
I’ve learned, especially this summer, that you can’t freeze time, no matter how much you’d like to. It keeps marching on…the pendulum swinging, the tides turning, the seasons changing. Moments that made you laugh turn into moments that make you cry…and defeats that made you crawl turn into victories that help you fly. Life is a big, chaotic, messy, unexpected, beautiful, magical full circle. Nothing is ever lost to you that doesn’t come back to you in some way, shape, or form. And sometimes in a way that is far better than you ever dreamed was possible.
Remember that when you find yourself at The End.
