Look closer.

That situation…that heartbreak…that problem that seems to have no solution; all of these things are the grain of sand in your life that is trying to bring forth your inner pearl.

If we were never sad, never tested, never uncomfortable…we would never be motivated to change. When something in our life isn’t working, it often manifests itself in the form of fear, pain, turmoil, and even loss – all red flags designed to awaken us to change. Remember this when everything’s falling apart around you and your entire life feels like it’s being shaken up like a giant snow globe – the flip side of destruction is construction. And before you can build something new, you have to first tear down the old.

Today, listen to what your life is telling you. If you’re being stretched, it’s because you’re meant for bigger and better things than what you’re settling for. Don’t lose the blessing because you were hiding from the lesson. You can experience your pain in vain, or you can experience your pain and GAIN.
