The Single Woman’s Dash of Sass – May 9, 2011

Quote of the Day:

“She fell, she hurt, she felt. She lived. And for all the tumble of her experiences, she still had hope. Maybe this next time would do the trick. Or maybe not. But unless you stepped into the game, you would never know.” ~Sarah Dessen

The Single Woman Says:

You’re going to stumble. You’re going to fall. You’re going to mess up…and get it wrong…and cry…and hurt…and learn things the hard way. Guess what? That’s called LIVING. And it’s better to walk on the edge and risk the fall than to never experience LIFE at all. Life is magic and tragic and beautiful and disastrous…all rolled into one. You can’t have the roses without the thorns or the rainbow without the rain. That’s life, baby!

Through it all, to never lose hope is to never lose your way. Even if you only have enough light for the step you’re on, keep going. God and the Universe will honor your refusal to GIVE up with a MOVE up. Because you know the most beautiful girl of all? The one that was so sure she was meant to fly, that she wasn’t afraid to fall.
